I love the feature Lauren Santo Domingo contributes to vogue.com. She always picks fabulous chiclets and their even more fabulous homes. This week she toured Patricia Herrera Lansing’s downtown loft that she shares with her big family. The apartment is filled with great art, antiques and personal momentos.

Polka Dots
Polka dots just make me happy. When I saw this room by Miles Redd it made me think about a Quadrille fabric sample I pulled when I was putting together Indya’s nursery. Maybe I’ll use it when she graduates to a more “grown up” room…although now I realize it can look quite sophisticated anywhere in your home.
Cork Walls
How great are these rooms with cork walls? I think it’s a really neutral look that envelops the space and makes it feel cozy. I would never have thought of it for a powder room but how cool is that?! Phillip Jeffries makes several variations of cork wall coverings.

I love the Charles Philip shoes that Heather at Habitually Chic blogged about today.
Look at all of the fun colors and prints!

Chairs Chairs Chairs
This is my new favorite chair. They look great in a dining room or as a chic desk chair. Upholstering them in leather gives a modern touch to such a classic shape. You know something is very popular when Ballard Designs replicates it! Another great source is 1stDibs if you want something vintage (Jansen made them in the ’40′s) or Hickory if you’d like a reproduction.

Parsons Play Table | west elm
How cute is this? West Elm has a child’s version of the Parsons table. It’s on sale so I guess you must act fast. There aren’t any other kid’s tables available.
Playroom Striped Ceiling, Kids’ Art Display, Book Wall | Maddie G Designs
I hope you all had a great weekend!
I really liked some of the details in this playroom from Susie at Maddie’s Nest. In particular, the wire curtain rod system she used to display her children’s art work is a super creative way to make use of a blank wall.
I’m not sure where she got her book shelf but when I do I’ll let you know. It’s bigger then the one’s they have at Pottery Barn Kids.
